Continued once more...

Tue. 7/30

This morning Clifford and Teara started hauling in pots before I got up, Tracy was up so I was the only one in bed. I quickly climbed up top so I wouldn't miss the action. I took an active interest in the steering of the boat, the fathom chart and the count of crabs as they totaled up the catch.  I was on the bridge most of the morning.

Tracy and I had time to view eagles and a whole bunch of jumping salmon. They were like large raindrops as they hit the water.

Soon we came upon "Submarine Rock" a name Clifford gave this formation because at high tide only the conning tower can be seen.  We hung round this area most of the day and would eventually drop anchor their for our night, but not before there were other sights to see.

Tracy spotted many eagles golden as well as bald, along with some bears, a few blue herons perched on rocks waiting to pounce on their dinner, seals, and few boring people.

When we were finally done for the day, we dropped anchor near Swan Island and were again checked out by the local resident of this piece of the channel.  Once again a seal poked it's head up a few times, stood out of the water partially by using his flippers to give him a better look, nodded his approval and slipped back into the water.
