We woke up with many chores ahead of us, mostly for Clifford and Teara as they prepared the boat for their journey and getting ready for us landlubbers to gawk and hopefully not get in their way too much. We had a quick lesson in Clifford's living room on how to get into a survival suit, and then went down to the boat to check on the accommodations we would have for the four days at sea. I couldn't figure out why everyone kept saying " if you don't want to go just say so, everyone will understand", then I saw what they were referring to. The sleeping arrangement, the shower, the head were not what I was accustomed to, to say the least. But being the trooper I truly am, I agreed to give it a try.
So Tracy got a lesson on the operation of the skiff, and we watched as Cliff drove the boat over to pick up bait, and ice, and then we docked the boat again. We were ready for our big adventure.
We will be out at sea for the next few days and won't have access to the internet, so we'll be off the air, so to speak, but will return to the usual channel when we get back
